Many moons ago, i done did a gesture of a girl sitting all fancy and then continued to prod at it as a form of procrastination, all aloof-like, until it morphed into what you see before you today.

Not sure what it is that compelled me to finally start sharing my art again..the boredom? the liquor? the prospect of a gossamer ladder finally materialising just long enough to goad me out of this existential abyss?? NO! Silly. I just, thought it was maybe nice.

Largely an experiment of style, It’s a weird, 80s-retro(?) kind of painting.
It reminds me almost of an old vinyl cover-work, perhaps something like King’s X’ ‘Gretchen goes to Nebraska’..yeah? No? I didn’t think so either… :(
