Derelict Spaceship Structure

This enormous structure was supposed to be the pinnacle of the space-engineering capabilities of an extremely advanced race, dedicated to exploring and crossing the boundaries of the universe. However, nearing the end of its thousand years of construction, its builders reached a level of enlightenement and knowledge so high they evolved into a state of godness. No longer manifesting in physical form or distracted by menial desires, they left their spacestructure.
This derelict structure now floats uncompleted, desolated through space. Those who discover it, wonder about its purpose, its technology and are amazed by its vast skeletal structure and its deep red glow emanating from the core designed to last forever.
