Dark forests where we're all looking for something. I'm so sick some days I just want to vomit but I can't. I think I'm love sick in the best and worst way. The branches keep out the light and I get so cold. I'm not so sure if there is light anymore but it's been so long.

I don't think I'm missing out. If you find good conversation, if you find the peace, hold on to it and don't let go. The warmth of another body, the feel of their pulse is a reminder of life's generosity. Time is lost here, it's endless, non existent as if it never even started.

We are an age of more forward mentality, where speed is the dictator of our emotional states, our understanding. We are quick in conversation, quick to eat our food, quick to be on our way but where? Quick to be at a distance and put up our shields, quick to judge and expect. Speed is not our ally sometimes but our cultures worship and covet it. Sex and intimacy is quick, they're gratifying in a near instant. Just the ticket.

We're so quick to judge we don't even give the time to admire the simple acts having meaning than purpose. We can't hold hands without being expected to put on our moves. We can't love without the body. It can feel so empty some days when people want to go so fast and the quiet ones want to take it slow. Come further into the dark forest. Let's talk...just talk.
