Mafia City Banners

Part of my challenges as being a Creature Concept artist by heart is remembering that I am an artist period. We have our own comfort Zones but overall need to think outside of the zones even we believe we are only capable to function in.

Working with the Gears For Breakfast group has been an interesting time for myself. They're a fun group with a lot of mind and heart in what they do and everything that seems to coordinate in the end is based from group discussion and a lot of " OOoo well what about this? "

I'd dare say I've been kept rather in line with my rather intense and darkly visions thanks to the group! Though I'm also glad to have seen my own work reflected in the collaboration of the Hat In Time project.

So far the most interesting of challenges had been designing the Posters, Banners and some of the graffiti for the Mafia City.As weird as it sounds I knew hardly anything about the Mafia Chefs but I feel like all the work in the end came out swinging with humor and light hearted aggression.

I've done things in this project that I did not think I would be capable of. It feels like an achievement to myself based on what I do. Though being quite honest I'd be keeping a lie if I did not admit my heart still flips with joy at the premise of more creature work.

I like them, but they look more like rough drafts than anything that's finished.
