The creature swayed through the boy's robe, bending in their curl and pressing the plate as close as their brow could raise. It was obviously poisoned. What hadn't been poisoned that the thing could get its hands on?

"Don't talk to it, John. It's gross when you do that."

Nir snapped her finger, refusing to look at the rather strange scene. It wasn't a normal sight, that was for sure. Not any of it. A man who was cursed with clay skin, who had additionally been cursed by a curse that wanted to be free of him, alive or dead, but preferably dead. A one armed sand fox with a removable head..and the less spoken about the beaked thing with the calcite bat, the better.
