Broken Light

There is this song and dance of mornings and nocturne. It's not for everyone, but then again...well. There are those of you that grow discouraged, that wander and wonder and wane. This is our stride. We have many questions, fleeting feelings both good and bad to ourselves. Some choose to feel little, and others are unaware they are hardly feeling at all. So they reflect their views and lives onto others. For some it is a mirror, and for others it is a harmful interaction. I want you to know something this night. If your heart has been heavy, and if your eyes have stared long and hard...I want you to rest for a little.

You know.. there is that reoccurring question that comes for those of us that struggle, and there are many. " Why should I bother? " Oh why indeed..some nights I will stare out the window into the darkness where to me there is nothing..yet there is everything I call home. Where the mind and heart find every little thing we know as a flaw, and every triumph as a reminder..we're still human here. We feel a whole lot, and for some it can be so much harder. For some...all they need is just one more reason to believe in this world or give up on it.

Silver foxes roam in this place, and they kneel in the gardens. When their flutes turn in silence, tears drip down their cheeks. Broken rabbits dance between them and they whisper the things you know are just right for you. That you're every reason, every responsibility, every growing reflection that this world of ours can be more than tragedy and repetition....it can be beautiful.
