I agree with what you're saying. It was part of the brief to make it look a bit old and beaten up, but I probably took that aspect a bit too far, just because it was more interesting to draw it that way. I think I was having a reaction to seeing too many of those black and white iRobot style androids everywhere and I wanted to do something different.

I agree :D I was a little concerned about it looking too aggressive. But hey, who wants some nerdy robot bringing in the tray of drinks? What if things turn ugly? You might need it to switch modes and start crushing some heads.
