I've always wondered what that giant black circle in the backround was O_o

Good question. Well, there's a lot of story behind this image. I wrote a few pages of ideas that it's based on, which I won't bore you with, but part of it is the world coming to an end the sun being blocked out by an enormous black shape. (So exactly what it is... I'm not even sure.) I'd be interested to know what you think it is.

Love the moody scene and dramatic tone. The figure is a little dark, so it's a bit hard to see his features but apart from that good work.

I dont think the big logo ruins it, and it's for your website so.
very nice work, reminded me of that one scene from the Black Hawk Down movie

Thanks for the comment and the compliment. This is going to be used for a site I'm making, probably a sort of welcome image or something, so the logo had to feature heavily. I'm sorry to hear that it detracts from the image for you. Personally I really like it being there, but I understand it's not for everyone.
