Very creepy and nightmarish looking, I love it! It actually kind of reminds me of a Regenerator from Resident Evil 4. What was your inspiration for this?

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. It was a commission piece, so really it was based on what the client was looking for. He wanted something that looked Giger inspired but had this 'Christ's Flesh' name in mind, so when I combined those two things, this is what came out.
I'm christian and this offence me. No just kidding but i do not see the link with Christ's flesh? Still great though.
Haha, sorry if I made your bible burst into flames. In answer to your question— the guy who commissioned this drawing, which was one of a series, told me that he was looking for a group of mutated superheroes. The designs were to look Giger inspired, and he gave me a list of character names to go off. So with this one, I made the claws kind of like crucifixes, give him a wound in his side and also made the skin look like something that is being worn, to hint at the flesh aspect. I kind of wanted it to have subtle Christ features, without making it stand out too much from the other designs.
This thing is awesome, very creative. I did expect some Christians to be pissed off at this though.
Yeah, no takers to condemn me as blasphemous. Maybe Newgrounds is nothing but a gang of heretics (I certainly hope so.) Thanks for the comment man :)
Not sure what I can compare this to, but it looks kind of like a xenomorph from Aliens... I like it!
Yes, you're quite right. This was part of a brief to design a set of characters with a Giger feel to them. Thanks for the comment ;)
The design for this is pretty awesome! The rendering is simply amazing, this is astounding. If I were to complain about something, it'd be that the teeth kind of make it look goofy, but everything else is simply amazing,
Thanks for the positive comment, it's very kind of you. I definitely understand your opinion when it comes to the teeth. When I sketched it out, I tried a few different things for the face, but when I roughed in this weird goofy smile (I thought your choice of the word 'goofy' was a good one) I really liked the contrast between the smile and the rest of the design, which is quite serious. I just liked the weird, uneasy feel that it gave to the character. I kind of knew it wouldn't be for everyone though, so I get what you're saying.
You may not use this work for any purposes.
