Disregarding God's Warning

The titanic form of Eve kneels within a landscape dominated by megaflora, so vast it vanishes into the misty atmosphere, miles up into the sky. She appears in her early twenties, and the enormous cigar shaped mother-ship still floats high in the sky, about a mile in front of her hulking, mist shrouded form. It hangs eerily silent now, an enormous, floating convex canopy, overgrown with moss and vines which hang just above the expansive clearing where she kneels. It's so vast that creatures have come to inhabit its murky undergrowth, swarming in and out like thousands of giant insects. After two-hundred years, it has over-come her with such curiosity that she’s decided to open it to observe it's contents. To her shock, thousands of bat-like creatures violently fly out, with such force that it creates a mild wind storm which blows her hair back. They spread themselves out in all manner into the pristine environment, like caged demons, finally freed. These are demons that will birth all reptilian creatures, great and small.

It's almost like the story of Pandora's Box... with a twist. :) The visuals are incredibly detailed, all those demonic critters swarming from the 'cigar shaped mothership' (that part didn't really convey the mood IMHO), the gigantic interpretation of Eve behind them. Really appreciate the texts that come with each picture too, most don't have such elaborate descriptions into what's going on within the pictures! I do wonder a bit about the technique used to make all of these though. Is it manual? Crayon? Oil? I get the sense it's done by hand, but no idea what tools of the trade were used to do so. Would be interesting to know how long a work like this takes as well. Good stuff!

Exactly, the descriptions were originally intended only for myself while I was writing the script, but as I continued on I found that they were becoming more and more a form of literature in themselves, so I thought it would be a good idea to add them, and It has turned out to be a good idea. All of these are done digitally with Photoshop. Completion times vary from a week to a month.
