Meet Rippy and his ghost pal Spookers! Rippy is the truest Nonstop Knight there is ... not even death can keep him from kickin' some bad guy butt! With his trusty shovel, he can thwomp baddies on the noggin OR dig up treasure (or friends!). And with Spookers by his side to light the way in the darkest of scary places, Rippy is ready for any heroic adventure!

I enjoyed seeing the WIP process of your piece and I bet you are so glad you changed the head shape and gave it more character with the stylized look. I knew youll win as this character and pet meet all the requirements. Nothing more spooky then skull and ghost together they go together like pea and carrots haha. Congratulations on being the open category 1st winner. Enjoy those prizes!

I've seen a ton of great entries but this one is my favorite. The style, design and colors are beautifully done, and I love the pairing of an undead skeleton hero with a spooky-ghost pet. The idea and execution are simple in the best way possible. It's kind of like a no-brainer/why didn't I think of that idea, but I doubt anyone else could've executed it half as well as you did!
Just the idea of the "truest Nonstop Knight" is brilliant to me... and I can't get over the lighting and colors in this piece. I love it. I'll truly be shocked if this piece doesn't win. Good luck!!
