Church excavation site

Thought I'd upload some stuff again, been a while since I did.
This was part of an assignement for school some time ago, we had to paint a scene in photoshop of a church that is being/has been excavated in the future. It was also supposed to be located in a desert. (don't ask me how churches end up in deserts).
There should also be something that "would make the discovery that would change archeology forever".
Since I'm incredibely bored by buildings, I focused mainly on the "surprise". Which, together with the fact that I can never finish something on time, may have had a hand in my not spectacular grades.
The colours where done in 10 minutes, not a good decision on my part.
