Part Two of my two-part series of digitally paintings. The first one being Dr. Matthew North Peake FhD and now his lovely assistant Dr. Lawrence Sonntag FhD. This time I used a totally different technique where I paint the values first then add color, but it looked better this way.
During the bit they did at PAX East Lawrence would sprawl around on the floor, on his chair, on people... you might've had to be there.
I also tried out some alternate versions of the painting using blending modes with the original sketch:
