It is nicely done. I do not know if they celebrate it,considering it is a Western/European thing.
I wanted to doodle a couple for Valentine's Day this year, and for my pairing I chose two Egyptians from different cultures and time periods: a native Egyptian (or Kemetian) from Pharaonic times and one of more recent, Arabic heritage. I don't know if Valentine's Day is a big thing in Egypt today, outside maybe certain Western-influenced enclaves or Christian minority communities (since St. Valentine is from Christian mythology), but I wanted to depict two contrasting components of Egypt's diverse cultural heritage embracing one another. That to me is one of the beauties of interracial love; it brings together what were once separate identities to form a richer whole.
It is nicely done. I do not know if they celebrate it,considering it is a Western/European thing.
