Here's a run-of-the-mill (as in commoner) couple of citizens from ancient Egypt. They could very well be husband and wife, or alternatively be brother or sister, but they're meant to represent the "average" Egyptian person of both sexes. And yes, we know from ancient art that Egyptian women really would carry objects like pottery or baskets on their heads as women do in certain countries to this day.
