Woah not bad! Like how this small animation has some lighting on it. I also like how smoothly the lines move. If your looking to improve it, I'd probably have the hair move a little more when she stops to move, particularly when she leans to the left. That will give the hair the illusion weight when moving though its apparent here. I'd also have they eyes go under the hair instead of over it. just give the the hair a separate layer (on top) and then combined the two before you color (the hair, head and eyes. But again, incredible job on this unique animation. Sorry if this question is out of place, but how did you get the lines to move smoothly (have a consistent thickness without parts looking bigger or smaller).

bocodamondo responds:

well thanks. but as for the eyes and hair layers. neh, its my style to keep eyes layers over hair, it may sound stupid but thats how i like to roll with it.

as for the lines. i use pencil tool because of the size change problem you mentioned. the pencil tool keeps at the same size no matter how much i zoom in and out and thats really helpfull and its auto line correct also helps me to avoid sloppy lines because of my little shaky hand

The only thing I ever have a complaint about when it comes to your work is the generic anime style. Somehow I can tell "Oh, this is Boco's work." because no one else really draws like they followed a "HOW TO DRAW ANIME AND MANGA STYLE" book they bought from an art store.

This animation is without a doubt, solid. You have a nice use of color, but it'd be awesome if you experimented with different styles of artwork, before all of your work just blends together.

bocodamondo responds:

actually, ive been expermanting with different styles quite a bit some time. back in 2008. i was trying to find the perfect art style wich il stick with, during the time i kept trying different styles for hair coloring, eyes, different nose size, chin form, anatomy style and coloring, but i think lately i found the perfect art style for myself that il stick with. the only thing i want to get better on it is obviously animation
