Cool!

I think this is pretty funny!

Dont be discoureged that you lost. You should have one! Apperently, people find proffetionalaty better that comedy.

BobtehLog responds:

Haha don't worry I don't feel discouraged in anyway! I love to draw random things so i'll be doing something similar for the next one! Thanks for the review :)

Fun idea, needs work!

I like the concept. Who wouldn't? Cowboy boot-wearing urinals having tea. But I feel the execution could be better. Using mspaint isn't the problem, because you can still have good art in mspaint. But there are a few things that could be made better. It needs more detail and time spent on getting the characters to look good. It looks like you've just drawn each line once and decided it was good enough the first time. Try sketching them out lightly on paper, and use photo-reference to guide you. Because it's a cartoon, you wouldn't copy exactly from real life, but it will help with adding details .e.g. the shape and leather details on a cowboy boot, the shape of a particular kind of tea cup, urinals based on real urinals, etc.

I also think there needs to be some thought about the volume of the characters you're drawing, with regards to shades and highlights. Have darker and lighter areas to show the objects are three dimensional and have depth. Again, photo-reference will help (keeping in mind that camera flash will change the direction of the shadows).

BobtehLog responds:

Yeah, I know. To be honest, it was drawn for an art contest which I thought i'd enter just for one of the subject being urinals. Turns out it was this entry and another that had been submitted so yeah. I guess the contest was as serious as this picture.

But thanks alot for the great review! I'll be sure to use your advice for my next random drawing in Ms Paint!!
