Inspired by... a song! Yes, I was listening to Mushroomhead's "Bwomp", and there's a part where the guy says "True humanity", but the pause between the hu and manity makes it sound like he's talking about a rainbow manatee.

SO NATURALLY I TAKE THAT AND MAKE A PICTURE OUT OF IT.

It's sad that there's no more true Hue Manatee, though. They were my favorite kind. Guess we'll just have to settle for the artificial ones.
