Prince of the Rose Palace

Share

This took me FOREVER! Part laziness part trying to figure out a color scheme for this AMID the detail put into it. My first artwork for Eternity: Prince of the Rose Palace, the first story in the series. Manalodia is the Veinnri (Prince) of Lithavania. During the reign of his father Veinnrose Calamus Arcturus, newly crowned Emperor Sharad of Betamoth has stolen the Penumbra's Origin Glyph, the source of all known magic. Manalodia challenges Sharad's vast army and amalgamations forged by the dark artes with only his Scarlet Queen glyph, the missing link the Origin Glyph and enchanted Sword of Rose.

Your artwork here is so superb that it appears to have been pulled directly from a professional anime episode in mid-story. This is clearly your best work, a benchmark to surpass if possible. I think you and I both know that it's time. When are you going to take this to the next level?

BluMiu responds:

Wow, thank you very much, but I'm not sure it's all that good ^_^ Different stuff could be improved, but thank you all the same! I'd do more of this scale, but style varies depending on story I'm working on and balancing art with writing. That's a good question. I'd like to say once the books are done or have an artbook incorporating their stories as well. Not 100% since I have a lot of ideas.
