This is a piece I've been working on for a while, with the goal of making something which makes use of heavy amounts of shifts in contrast to be eye candy. :3

I intend to use this somehow in my upcoming remake of my RPG, Guardian. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

awesome <.<

cool stuff! how long did it take you to finish this and where do you get your ideas from? haven't done a flash since 2004.. xD maybe i'll go and draw some shit gg

bluemagma responds:

It took a while bro, mainly because I get distracted so easily. xD

I'm just a really imaginative person, so my ideas just come out of the blue and stuff.

Impressive.

Wow, that is creepy... but cool all at the same time. I really love some of the detail you put into this... although I feel that in some areas it looks a bit flat, specifically that one "tentacle" in the front. But this is really awesome. Keep up the good work.

bluemagma responds:

I'm actually in the process of adding far more contrast to this sprite to fix that up, as well as a background based on what a few guys on The Spriter's Resource and PixelJoint were saying. Thanks for your comment! :D

Sharp!

That deliciously stark contrast of dark and light is played with very nicely. This really fits the RPG type game graphics. I applaud you for being such a detailed pixel artist.

The whole piece has such a mystical element to it.

bluemagma responds:

Thanks bro! Seriously, I really appreciate it. :3
