It's a swamp Pester. pester are three feet tall, on average, are quite quick, light on their feet, are able to jump six or seven feet forward and probably three into the air. they do not burn food the way we do, so eating too much just increases the size of their bellies, up to the point of not just slowing, but immobilizing or bursting them. but after some time, the pesters shed skin to grow into their new bodies. they have a pair of mandibles, good for grabbing and tearing, but not generally for biting as they have curved hook teeth and cannot bite into bone. a three foot long prehensile tongue is often used as a small limb is used for parrying and grabbing other creatures. their feet, more like half of a beak than a foot is chitinous, even bony, but can cut a well as dig.they have twin tendril-ey arms and two big black eyes. they get steadily more bulky, until they shed skins and are about four feet when they die, a relatively short lifespan of ten-ish years, but an impressive one nonetheless.
