When the pioneers came to the great American plains they cared not for the tranquil beauty and spirit of the lands, they swept through the land like a plague. Over a short period of time the great American Buffalo was nearly brought to extinction, skulls lay in piles, bodies of the great animal left astray unused, the natives of the land cried for help, and eventually it came.
She was a gift from the gods, perhaps a living vessel of vengeance inhabitated by the souls of all the bison killed, whatever she may be she turned the tide of the situation and began a systematic slaughter of the pioneers, ranchers, any foreign people that entered the plains. Her name's Buffy as she calls herself. Buffy killed over 2,000 white men that infringed in their territory, until her bloodlust was put to an end after falling in love with a pioneer with a kindred spirit. She became an equine-Pocahontas and their love began the beginning of the end of the slaughter and desecration of her land, beasts, and people she fought for.

Nice background story. It really sets the mood for the picture, which was nicely done as well.
The only thing that bugs me is her front paws. I have the impression that she's wearing a pair of shoes when I look to the grass. lol

Thank you! I really wanted to try to put a lot of effort into the monster girl challenge lore-wise, almost all of them are going to have stories behind them like this one here, some of them will tie in with other one's stories as well.
As for the hoof thing, that's because I stylized them intentionally to resemble high heels just to give a more womanly look, in retrospect it really doesn't look all that good haha.
