WHAT IS YOUR EFFORT was orginally inspired from few months back's Friday's khutbah (preach) in a mosque around Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia.
The idea had been in my mind for so long until one day i heard Sami Yusuf's "Make A Prayer"that really touches my heart.
Worked on this in about 3 hours (more or less) in Adobe Illustrator CS4.
I hope my simplicity in art design did not wash away the deep meaning or this piece. The tv screen meant to be white blank, as it represent wherever places around the world that need our help whether it is Gaza, Durban, Darfur, Thailand, Acheh etc.
