This was actually supposed to be a race between me and a friend but we both failed so much we just ended it XD
BUT, I decided to just go ahead and draw a piece of fan art for the new Disney 2D animated film "The Princess and the Frog". I'm SO HAPPY they went back to doing 2D!! And it looks so awesome! Now I can only hope the story is well written. I can already see the animation is phenomenal.

God...this took so long to make lol had to use the very few references i had in the trailer. As you can see, the frog looks nothing like the one in the trailer lol but i tried :D
Hopefully, this movie will get Disney back on its own feet.

I tried to get her to look as close to Disney's style as i could. I think i did ok. and yes. I also drew the clouds. I know a few people wont believe me, so i had to clarify :D I surprised myself actually!
I'm really looking forward to watching it on the big screen.

I'd have to agree with Bezman that when I first saw this, I thought you were an artist working on that movie. Anyways nicely done the background was nice and the clouds added more to the background.
As for the characters they were well shaded and drawn to near Classic Disney Animation quality. Well Done!
I saw the trailor for this just barely a week or two ago. Very well done, you are excellent at drawing animation style.
I would say you could have spent like 4 more minutes on the rough sketch of that left hand though before you decided to render it. XD

I love this! I actually assumed you were a pro when I saw the pic.
The blue line coming from the left to in front of her dress is a bit odd - what was it? It seems like there could have been some interesting stuff that was 'cropped' off the bottom - the picture would probably be better without the rock on the right and whatever the blue line on the left is.
Lovely clouds, colours and expressions.
The expressions are what turns it into a great pic.
