Hello!

I'm pretty excited about all this Art Portal business, so I thought I'd contribute with a piece I submitted to a Newgrounds Art Contest a while ago (the theme was Isometric Pixel Art in case you're wondering).

It didn't take long to make, less than an hour, which is probably why I didn't win. I wasn't surprised, it was apparent that people had spent hours on their contributions. However, I deem this to be Art Portal worthy.

I respond to all reviews, so let me know if you like it or not. :)

It's nice

But it all looks a little bit...samey.
I like the reds they fit together well.

Nillions responds:

THIS IS ARRRRRRRRRRT

I like it.

The modern look of this piece really shows through, it reminds me of those illusion where you have to count the squares. The colors are very vibrant, but the repetition is pretty bland in itself. It definately matches the theme of the contest you entered though. Overall, it looks neat and very catchy to the eye. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to seeing your future art pieces!

Nillions responds:

Looking back on it, it reminds me of the VR levels from TimeSplitters 3. I wanted this to be very abstract, so I went for these bright colours and hard edges. The different reds give it a sort of menacing look, which I think suits the title of this piece.

Thank you very much!

AMAZING,

This Should Be In Killzone 2

Nillions responds:

Oh you. :3

Clever

I like it, you have to REALLY look into it. I don't get it, though? Are they rectangles or stripes.

IT B3 VER33 CLEV4R

Nillions responds:

Thank you for your kind words. :)

You should try and focus on one of the lenses of the cameras, and then follow the lines that come out of the corners. Which way is the camera pointing?
