Another favorite from my AP art concentration, done with marker and colored pencil. I had some trouble with my choice of color on the neck of the guitar, and I'm still a bit unsatisfied with how that part turned out.

Incredible

You really have some talent...

it's amazing how you can recreate the reality with just some mere pencils and a marker....

however i can see clearly the difference of time (or focus) you spent on the background and the background..
anyway it's just wonderful!

Beautiful!

Another great, photo-realistic piece with your recognizable touch. You're great at capturing distorted reflections. However, the neck looks really flat to me, unless the guitar you were drawing has a really thin neck itself.

I assume this is the same guitar from Glow? It looks like a strat copy, can you tell me what make it is?

Bit-Master responds:

It's the same guitar from all my pieces (except, obviously, "Pattern", which was some old generic brand from 30 years ago). It's an Ibanez GRG 170 DX and my first and favorite guitar. It does have a generally flat neck, about the thickness of your thumb, the slight shadow at the base of the neck shows how it thins out as it continues up.

And thank you for the many compliments :D

Tremendous!

Really, the detail is just spot on.

Do you take photographs and replicate them? I ask because the distorted reflection of the keyboard is just so convincing - if not, then you truly have an eye for the natural world. Kudos.

I admit, I am only human. I wouldn't say "replicate", though. =P
