Very nice work..
Was this done in erase technique with charcoal by any chance? :) If so you did very well.
well spotted :) yeah it was done in a similar way to erasing on charcoal, done on the computer in GIMP

Excellent job!
The facial work is amazing and realistic--the face itself is thin and physically drawn, slightly off-putting. The lack of colour elsewhere really highlights the eyes--something I appreciate in art. My only question(and not a criticism) is why the caption/title is "too sad?" when the face looks more curious or even frustrated instead of 'sad'? Oh well, only the artist knows. Again, excellent job.
i might have thought it looked sad because of the way it turned out compared to the original photo. i would agree that it's maybe a bit more expectant or curious rather than "sad". thanks for your comment, much appreciated :D
