how do you get art featured in the front page when you click on "art" though?

My Mythology teacher gave us coloring packets for extra credit. We have to color 20 Creatures. The art outlines are pretty bland and so I decided to make them on the computer. So I thought I would post them on NG. Sorry about the giant image I made it big so I can print it high quality and I don't feel like making a smaller version of everything I draw.

Thats actually the reason I don't like the art portal much ...its like a the blogs ...It just shows the most recent art put in on the front page.(I just posted this stuff yesterday). I really don't like how its set up.
