your other art is quite cool. But not this.

Perhaps you aren't into anthro art. To each their own.
Critique time!
Overall, you have great compositional skills as far as personality goes, however I can tell you didn't plan the setting while composing this image. You focused on Bard himself, then added the setting. I suggest you create your future images in full-settings that are better planned, that way we the viewers get the pleasure of witnessing Bard in more complex situations.
When you draw a character for the sake of the character, and only the character, what happens is the character is almost always staring directly at the viewer smiling or smirking with determination, or giving an otherwise sassy grin to the viewer, breaking the 4th wall. When you break the 4th wall, what almost always happens is it leaves you wondering what to do for the "background." Right? Because you composed the character to just stand there. There's not much setting you can place in the image if the character is just standing there, is there?
Even if it is an image just to show off Bard, it would do you wonders to incorporate setting so that you learn *that* much more about setting in general, and have *that* much more knowledge overall so you're not stumbling, wondering what to do with your next image.
Also, Bard seems a bit stiff. I know he's very muscular, however I'm seeing this stiffness mainly in his hand/wrist area. His hand isn't conforming to his hip, it looks like. I think the fact that you're hiding his other hand is an indication that you might want to focus on drawing hands correctly.
As has been said, an area of weakness is the area that needs the most attention.
9/10 because art is nothing but learning and effort!
Thanks for the review!
I'm in serious need of improving my backgrounds. It can be complicated, though. I'm not always sure where the light should be hitting or what kinds of reflected colors should be shown. I'm pretty weak in those areas.
My anatomy really needs work, too. I may not be very good at hands, but I do try to show them anyway. Still, I need work.
