amazing

I love this picture! I think the main reason it's so good is because of how much emotion you put in this guy. The mish-mash of colors is freaking awesome. I even love how there appears to be a fairy or something on his head. I'd love for you to make a flash cartoon featuring these designs. Well, maybe you already have.

It kind of reminds me of Christmas, with the red and green colors. In fact, even his cane looks like a candy one! Anyway, the amount of detail is fantastic in this. He really does seem to be looking at the viewer in this. That may not have been the intention.

Impressive

I love all of your art. This one reminds me of the works of Robert Ingpen... especially his kettle story and the lighthouse story. Love the contrast of red-burgundy-brownish with the gray/greens. Quiet serene. I could go on...

Hot picture.

Nice. I dig the unfinished look. :) Interesting color usage and hatching technique, as well as overall contrast. And the description reminds me a lot of you, lol. (Minus the "old as the woods" bit.) :D

Congrats on being front-paged, too. :>

woah!

i like the style of drawing!
