You're getting ambitious, which is fantastic! Keep challenging yourself! The proportions are a bit off in places, but the images composition and imagination are very well conveyed. Your use of colors is also well picked and laid out. Keep up the great work!

Thank you man. I focus on work right now! :)

A great improvement on previous works. Your use of shading to create depth stands out to me as something that was missing from your other pieces.

There are one or two things about the cyclops that I noticed could do with some improvements. Firstly the eye and mouth seem quite flat to its face, like it's painted on or some kind of mask, more detail around them could bring out the mouth and sink in the eye. Secondly the foot that is furthest away looks a little too triangular and misshapen to me. Thirdly the bottom left (viewers left) rib shouldn't stop before it reaches the edge of his torso like it does currently, it should continue behind the leg.

The guy is done almost without fault although his closest leg looks like it's kinda bent in a funny angle. This is only a small error and really not a huge problem with the piece.

As I stated before this is the best art I've seen you produce. The background is epic, maybe a little more detail on the ground wouldn't have been a bad thing but the sky and sun are perfect as is the rock that is behind the cyclops. Keep it up.

Man the colors and shading are awesome. I can learn from this style for my too heavy coloring. I love it dude, has this kind of painting on paper feel. 5 stars your way. The only thing I would have made different was the filling of the eyeball BUT I still love it the way it is, I can see the detail taken here. Keep them coming my man!

ArcadeHero responds:

Thank you dude!
Your opinion means a lot for me! :B

Now that's a freaky Cyclops. Overall the shading, lighting, etc looks great, it's detailed and figurative, and the outlines work well against the sunset/rise in the background, which initself is just perfect, feels like the light is lighting up just enough land, and that sliver on the mountain is nice. The little man looks realistic too, but the Cyclops.. it almost looks like his head is completely disconnected from his body, just hovering before it, and that eye is unnatural somehow, I like the detail but it looks flat, maybe some glow or some lacing would liven it up? Keep it going!

Thank you CD, glad you enjoyed it!
This posture is associated with a sketch that I didn't.
This is a job for the contest. But I didn't in order to win, but for the experience.
The main problem was this:
With the sketch presented by the authors I had to make the finished drawing.
Sketch you can see in my art thread on forum.
