Felt like making something in MS Paint really quick. Then did the background in PS.
Nothing special. Just messing around with one of the characters I want to start animating.
Originally made him with a Pumpkin-ish top hat, but that made him look too much like an anime character, haha.

I like the teeth out of alignment, personally. Looks more crooked. Out of place. Like a Skeletor version of the pervert from Family Guy.

Decent

So here we have something not too shaby, the artwork is notbad, infact i kinda like what you did here, some more polish up here and there would be a good start of improvment though. So this was something differant, now that you using a differant program and all this seemed to be alright with the limited tools and whatnot, i do like the challange you gave yourself, theres some tings you can do with this likegive his head that hat, maybe a few scars here and there maybe even a crack in his head somehow, just a thought though, also would like to see something done with the "BACKROUND" it was just abit too plain. And while it is not perfect i still found a little something to it, so i would suggest some more extra added details here and there, wich i may have already suggested abit ago.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Its the little things here and there that could really propell this into something more, the extra this and the extra that will help for sure, so i have gone ahead and suggested some possibilities. As mentioned some wear and tear on your character would be nice, maybe some fight scars, a crack, even a hat as you spoke of, and something with more depth in the backround aswell.

Weird! Probably converts well for animation...but all those teeth have to line up....

AshleyAlyse responds:

Yeah, I ought to fix that. I literally drew the teeth with the pencil tool in less than ten seconds! Hahaha. Thanks!

Ooh, he looks awesome! The only issue I see is that if he's buff, he might just remind people of Dad from Dad'n'Me, but if he's thin, people might just see him as a watered down Slenderman, maybe. Of course, THAT depends on what his role in the animation is. Me personally, I like him the way he is. Lemme know if you'd like me to throw you some voice work for him! I even have some potential SFX ideas.

AshleyAlyse responds:

Oooo! I will definitely get you for voicing once I create it! :D You're right, kinda does seem like either of them, hm. Ah well. Thank you so much! :)
