The colors feel very renaissance-ish, matches the music you've been making. :P
What did you draw it in? Always curious what programs people use as I still haven't found one I'm comfortable with.

Drawn with two black pens, a light brown marker and a purple colored pencil. A couple things cleaned up in PS.
"Royal Purple" may not be a good name for it... I google image searched "royal purple" and a million different purples showed up... WHAT IS THIS ATROCITY? So. Eh... close enough. It's royal purplish. lol
I'm really confused as to what the difference is between Fine Art and Illustration, so I hope I'm putting it in the right area.

Thank you for the review! I drew it by hand. I used a very inky black pen, a normal black pen, a light brown marker and a purple colored pencil. :) I edited a couple things in PS though, like straying lines and the background, because I drew it on lined paper.
Love the texture on the scales and the use of light and shadows. Epic work, ashley (As always).
