Dragon!!
This is so beautiful! I love the amount of work and detail you put into the scales. His expression is beautiful too. Almost looks like he's ready for lunch. :D But yes, the contrast and textures are totally amazing too. It's nice to find another self taught composer/artist gal here on NG. And someone else who loves dragons! :D

Textures
Im a sucker for textures, especially if this is done in pencil and this is perfect! you have a unique style to your creations and their nothing short of talented.
Actually, I drew most of the dragon with pen. :) I hate drawing with pencil. Pens are so much cleaner to work with. Thank you so much! :D Your review made me smile. :D

i love the amount of detail you have used in this art piece...
I also like how you have made his face and neck look almost completely patterned too. It's a really good use of textures and i love the boldness you have used to frame the dragon.
I agree with Aci6 in regards to adding something in the background, you could've used lightning, but i think something like a castle in the distance would add to the fantastical characterization of the picture and also highlight the size of him adding the sense of power :)
but yeah.. nice work.
I absolutely love designing the details in a piece of art. :) It's probably my favorite thing to do, even though it takes forever, haha. I will take that into account! I think some lightning would do the trick. :) Thank you for your review! :D

Good, really good
Wow, really awesome detail right down to the design of scales. The teeth even look sharp and the expression just comes off as horrific. Nice idea with the title and has some humour to it. Something to add which would be cool would be lightning strikes in the background to enforce and idea of power.
