This is Javelin's wyvern. Ive wanted to design a wyvern for the character for many years, but was never pleased with a design. Once i doodled this dragon in my sketchbook, i thought i had finally nailed it. Im nicknaming it Guavern, as its color pattern was inspired by the Guava Skipper butterfly.

It's a great sketch!
I didn't even notice the silhouette before hand until I had read your comment about it. The tail had looked flat to me as it was, lol. At first I had thought about whether or not it would be too heavy, but it looks like something that would be a low-flyer. I'm not trying to pick it apart, just commenting on how it came across to me.
Just wanted to make a comment, in the stance that he has, he looks like a road runner, did you kind of base his construction off of that? This was one of those great-to-see-in-Full-Size sketches. Love it.

I feel bad for ruining your 10, but...
This is a great piece of art, and that's not the problem I have with the picture. What really bothers me is the langth and thickness of the tail. The tail seems like it would weigh about as much, if not more than the front half, which would unbalance flying a lot...
If you look at the silhouette for it in the corner, it has a paddle-like flat tail.

complex
Incredible level of detail, very good range of colors and a perfect size for my new banner is what I consider art.
