Why everyone getting so grumpy about minor details. It looks like cloud 100%, theres no confusion about who it is. He looks amazing, and all the "Huge Hardcore FFVII Fans" FFS If you wanna see cloud exactly the way hes "suppose" to look then go look at old photos and stop hindering artists from doing there thang. Yes I played FF7, EHRGEIZ and watched FFVII Advent Children. Ever thought about doing Dart from The legend of dragoon?

This is not critisism for this picture, but for the artist behind it.
I couldn't help but notice how rude you are to your viewers :/
If you're supposed to draw Cloud and instead you draw a blue ball and someone mentions: "Hey, you drew a ball, not Cloud" you can't just go saying: "well, that's my interpretation of him."
When you're drawing someone else's characters, people expect them to look like them too.
If you want people to take you seriously, you gotta' start listening to negative comments too. You can't improve if people just praise your photoshopped art with perfect grades and comments like: "cool!!!!"

The only problem with this picture is that Cloud looks like he is floating (Looks like he is not touching the ground) and looks like he is about to fall saying.
The only problem I have (not really a problem just something I can't stand) is that the way you drew his sword. Where the gold part is separated just above the hilt. The Cloud from the game and the sword I have connect it. Sorry. I'm just a HUGE fan of Cloud.

If you are such a huge fan of cloud, then you might own some of the square play arts figures as i do. I directly referenced the sword from one of them and from official renders. So next time try to get your facts straight.
I'm not even that big of a Cloud fanboy, but I'd love to have this render as a wallpaper. It's genuinely superb.

This is a generally good overall piece, howver I think you could have made the surroundings and the background a little darker in order to bring out the light at his feet, contrast ya' know.
Very nice piece, I really like ow the whisps of Mako are coming out of the ground. Keep it up \m/
