Well this was a long time coming. I had a design for a "godvalis" many years ago, but it never made it past a sketch phase. Really the only thing i recall from that design was glowing red hair and no shirt. This was done as concept art for my anatomy final.

For this design i wanted to pull a lot of power into the character. It was extremely challenging trying to get the translucent skin look i had in my head without making him become too much like a monster. I made his armor kinda transform and bend to become more open. I wanted to draw phoenix imagery into the design, the skirt thing and armor becoming feather shapes.

Anyways guys i hope you like it, and i hope his scythe is big enough for you this time.
