This was a labor of love. This took me days to make. I had two things on the mind when I was making this, Mario and Drew Struzan. So I decided to make a Mario fanart but done in a grand scale like Drew Struzan's movie posters. Bowser was the hardest to render since he has so many colors to shade. This was done completely with Corel Painter X3. I really hope you people like it! This is well done. Great use of color and very true to the character design. Only thing I'd recommend is possibly make the lighting more consistent with the direction it's coming from. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but each character seems to have their own lighting.
