The People Have Spoken
Average Score: 9.6 / 10
Amazing artwork. It's very flowing and doesn't have any defects that jump out at you. I wish I was as good as shading and overall makeup of the human head as you. *Gives Kudos!*
inuyasha10122 Realism is 100 times harder than manga, but yoe its still cool.
its realism, im more of a fan of manga, but thats cool!
I wanna learn how to draw this good? any tips?

Author's Response:
0.o perhaps we have met!?
If you wan't my opinion, I'n have to say this portrait--I mean you, are gorgeous :D. Great work, it's very realistic :D That reminds me, I did a self-portrait for my art class about 2 weeks ago. I'll be posting it if it'll fit on my scanner >:D
Fantastic work. Keep it up.
The human body is one of the most difficult things to put on paper (In my opinion at least).
Being able to make a Self-portrait blows my mind, the idea you very well could/do look exactly like that is great, and there are no shape flaws or lighting mishaps that I can tell.
Great Work.
you're cute
Summary says it all ^_^
That's awesomely awesome-cool!
the black an white self portrait looks really nice...
Charcoal is one of my fav medias.
Did you use "SOFT" compressed and fine charcoal?
I show probably post some of charcoal stills and portraits. If only I had a better camera or a scanner! :(
Author's Response:
Compressed charcoal for the darker values and vine for the lighter values like the hair and skin. When I finished I was afraid that if a breeze came by it would've just blown away lol- thank god for fixative!
How sweet, Nice work, like a picture in black'n'white, excellent shading
you seem to have a lot of self portraits.
you know your beautiful
Onli critism, the picture seems a little blury. damn you autofocus!!
Author's Response:
Yeah, I don't have a big enough scanner at home so I just had to photograph it and my camera is sorta lame- thanks for the feedback :)
The attention to detail is amazing. I can tell you spent a lot of time and effort on this piece- beautiful and well done, I myself would not have the effort to do such a piece
You're chubby, aren't you? :>
Author's Response:
A real porky the pig- I mean just look at that snout!
Your quite talented, the tone is just right, the face structure is great. I wish I was as good as you but I can't draw a person to save myself. Maybe you could give me tips on how to be as good as you :) Good job hope you got a good grade for this
Author's Response:
Thanks a lot :)
Got a B+ I beleive haha
I don't know about tragic I just know it gave me a boner!
I don't really see tragedy in it. All I see is disapointment and exhaustion...I think you should try a little harder to make it more...how you say? Tragic?
T_T so sad makes me want to cry
i really like the rendering on this.. but as i said before.. i think you should add more depth to the hair to add a bit more to it.. this one gets my 5/5.. nice work..
Your picture was very well done. For next time though, try to get more contrast into the picture as well as adding more detail to the background, even if only a window. I looked at a couple of your other pictures as well, also very well done, keep it up.
Author's Response:
agreed on the contrast- I don't really see the need for a background since I personally find them to be distracting at times. But perhaps just a suggestion of an environment behind the figure would help. Thanks :)
Want some Prozac?
But, yeah, that picture captured tragedy really well.
The overall picture is very well done! The background could have had a bit more detail (as Nahuije said), the cheeks could have more shade, the part connecting the nose and the forehead is a bit too sharp, but that's mostly it! Excellent!
I think the background could be better, but anyway excellent job!!you are heavy weight artist.
9/10
5/5
The light off lips and hair came out great. Only thing that throws this picture off is the direction you are looking and the direction your face is. Kinda feels like you should have turned the head a bit off to the side instead of just doing a profile with the eyes turned so far. It's amazing though. Looking forwards to your other submissions.
THis is so fucking amazing, i have never seen a drawing that looks so real¬
Truly amazing work
