Phoenix are beautiful creatures with magical healing powers. They can become hundreds maybe thousands years old. When they die they burst into flames and are reborn out of there own ashes.
Took me about 10 hours to draw

The phoenix is my favorite of all animals, and you have captured it so perfectly I cannot spot a single mistake.
The shading and color is completely flawless, the crimson and gold suit the phoenix so well.
The background is amazing with the shading, and to add the effect of the feathers falling off is genius. The talons are great from every tiny wrinkle to the sharp claw. The glossy feathers and blue eye are the icing on the cake and finish it soundly.
You are a superb artist, and I'd love to see more of your work. I'm in awe of how perfect this is!! :D
