I liked drawing this insane character. Drawing his face was the most fun part of all. I still wanted him to look some kind fo human like, but also a deadly like reptile.

This is the story behind the character:

This scientist had developed an organ that replicated the machines that produced mutagenic drugs, capable of producing any type of mutagen desired. He intended to use it in large animals as cheap living production facilities, potentially saving the company millions. The heads of the company however did not share his vision, they were already having great difficulty establishing the existing recreational mutagens as being socially acceptable, treating animals as living machines would be pushing the boundaries and would likely threaten their work. So they told him to put his work on the shelf for another time; and to focus on current research.

This he did not accept, he would prove the value of his work by demonstrating it. When it had been discovered he was modifying animals in preparation of integrating the organ, without requesting permission to do so, the company took action and fired him.

The next night he broke into the lab, he wasn't going to allow them to steal his work. The problem however is the organ was being kept alive in one of the companies machines, he could not move it without transferring it to a living host. Given no other options he prepared the equipment and mutagens to transfer the organ into himself.

In order to create the space to accommodate the organ in his body he would have to perform some changes. Borrowing parts from a sex change mutagen; he created a womb like space within his body and an opening between his legs, the artificial womb was fitted with connections that would allow the mutagen producing organ to fuse with his body. He had to hurry before he was caught, he didn't have time to play safe. So reluctantly he used the equipment to removed his male sexual organ, he needed that area for the opening into his body.

Once the changes had fully developed; he took the container housing the organ and attached it to the machine he intended to use on animals. Only wearing a white office shirt he then lay on his back on the cold steel table, positioning himself to be in line with the machine. When he was ready he braced himself and hit the button; which caused the organ to be loaded onto a robotic arm and then moved toward the new opening into his body. He felt himself stretch apart, a moment of overwhelming pressure, then felt something large quickly slide into his body. The machine moved away; and then he sat up.

He looked down at the result, a stomach that made him look pregnant and a large organic tube hanging out of his body. It felt as if the organ was melting into his body, he knew this meant it was successfully fusing with him. While waiting for the process to complete he had time to think, he would need more than this to accommodate the organ. So when ready he slowly sat up and returned to the machines, the long organic tube wrapped and held in his hands, there was more work to be done.

He brought up the database of genes used in mutagens, he picked the ones he would need and had the facility produce a mutagenic injection for him, one that would not wear off. Once finished he quickly injected himself and waited for the results, a few moments later he violently fell forward onto his hands as if a force had pushed him over. A large reptile like tail rapidly grew out of his lower back, quickly expanding and eventually consuming the lower part of his body; absorbing the organic tube and integrating it into the tail.

He stood up and regained his balance, this tail would accommodate the output end of the organ as well as keep it safe. Once feeling up to it; he started to head for the lab door to escape while he still could, but something stopped him. He had worked with mutagens for years but had never tried them himself, he did not expect the rush he would feel during the transformation, he did not expect how much he would enjoy th
