I haven't drawn a Asian-like dragons in years. I really should have done it earlier. I'm so proud of this! I love doing the manes! And the snake like body.
I used some textures for the dragons body to make it more natural.
I got it done pretty quick. It took me about 20 hours. I did the sketching with a pencil an I colored it in PS.

But I find it kinda ironic.
Chinese Dragons are supposed to be of good luck and peace. Chinese Dragons are supposedly pure good.
(I say Chinese Dragons because of the 4 Claws. Japanese Dragons have 3 Claws)
Great, but 20 hours, others took u 2
plz explain to me what made it take you so long compared to thew other ones, nevertheless, i love it, see something special in it, and can understand the 20 hours becasue it would take me 500 hours. and it would never be as good. NOT EVEN CLOSE IT WOULD BE LIKE AN OUTLINE. GOOD WORK

I used a different techniek with this one. I used some textures of photo's to make the scales. But's alot of work because you have to place the scales on the right space.
Other are speedpainitings. I just draw them in a higher speed and the images look a bit rougher.
