It's done. If anybody has critic please let me know.

This took be between 15 and 20 hours. Shading and the details were the most work. It's really difficult to draw a creature with more than one head!

Hope you people like it!

Ah yes, the hydra is quite a special mythical creature. I have never seen any art piece that won awards like these. I had no idea there even was a monthly 3rd place. We should record that. I counted a total of thirteen heads. This is a wonderful picture because of how well it captures the spirit of mythology.

They all look similar with the monstrous teeth. I especially love how the teeth are done. I don't know how they're balancing on the water. Maybe there's more heads underneath? Oh yeah, it's close to shore.

The raw energy of Hydra in a rage comes across very well- the surrounding sea, land and sky seem to fear all the more the strength of this monster. The coloration of Hydra and the the storm in the sky is very good, but perhaps could be jsut a bit darker.

This is amazing but the I thought the hydra only starts out with nine heads?

this painting is fantastic on many levels, but i feel that even though this should have been a multi-level painting almost seeming 3d because of all the heads. i feel that this painting was cut short to about 2 levels because of the jump from a perfectly visable head to a completely blackened heads in the background even though the light source is behind them in the clouds

wow

Amazing! Really...! I think it must have been difficult to draw, but, jeez, you made a hell of a work there! And the "splashes" in the water are fascinating! xD
