Mercy of the Saint

Share

Alice (Actor 5-6) is a woman whose destiny was to become a saint. She is full of passion and gives equal love to the enemy.

Artist Interpretation:
The illustration is based on the Pieta by Michelangelo. I figured it fit her so well because of her VXAce Character Profile.

When Michelangelo made the sculpture, he wanted to send a strong message to the viewer that the atonement is a blessing to mankind. Oscar was perfect I think because he is listed in the Evil set and is interestingly listed as the 6th Actor. I also liked the idea that "Satan," a fallen Seraphim of love or arguably the representation of inner nature of man, is actually his demon form whose goal is to make demons and humans live peacefully together. Which I found interesting since coming into terms with our inner demons is essential to live a good life. I think despite his horrendous way of approaching the situation, he wanted what is best for his people (demons) too.

The Pieta is basically a message of hope for mankind which I strongly feel is what Alice's role is in the VXAce Cast List and how it continued from RMVX's 'story.'

Definitely Pieta inspired. The Description is beautiful, the eggshell like platform elevates the two characters. The whole eggshell breaking thing presupposes some allegory, I like how deep this goes. Concept is awesome, the colors are pretty simple, but effective. Like! 5 stars!

whoa very radical man. This very much reminds me of this RPG game called "Valkyrie Profile" Great work!
