Nothin' fancy, just practicing my character art. I think I like this style more than PS digital paint.

Drawn entirely in Flash.

Exquisite

I liked the character you drew, and even though it's nothing fancy, I think it's quite better than others I've seen. I also appreciate the fact it was drawn in Flash, since I've experimented in Flash before and the only way I could draw was by using basic shapes and the brush tool, rarely. I'll elaborate later.

I like the fact that you've drawn the body exactly as the proportions demanded them: the face decreases in size with age, whereas the torso increases a little slower than the legs.

The legs and the uniform are appropriately shaded; I like the faint gradient you've given for the legs and arms, overlapped with a slightly larger, darker and a little transparent "shadow" under the sleeve. The pouches on his jacket (?) are of appropriate relative size in relation to the stomach and belt; the pants are lightly creased, so as to give the impression of a brisk walk. The gun is drawn nicely, and I can't comment much on it since I don't know anything about guns; however, all I can say is that it's drawn nicely.

Now, to the small details: The hair's drawn nicely, with a darker outline (well, kind of) of hair on the head; I see you've also given an appropriate "off-hair" on the head -- I have the same hair sticking out, which adds a touch of realism; no person will have a perfectly straight hair with hair like that. The bone just below the neck is depicted in black color, the pencil tool, or the brush tool I believe? However, even though I know that it actually exists, it's supposed to be the colour of the skin, rather than having black lines drawn there, since the bone's under the cover of the skin; covering that with a little of the skin colour and tinting it would have been better, I think.

A background could've been added, though, since I just see a blank background with a little black and grey mixed in, along with some shadows mixed in. Maybe a field of grass, or concrete jungle? Or a war zone where he's not in the front line?

All in all, a very nice piece, and the only bad things I found with it were the lack of a background, and the part on the neck (although I'm not going to factor that in the overall score). Good job! [Additional note: I don't know if it's just me, or if the music I'm listening to is making this look better (Knas.xm)]

~~ Summary ~~

~~ Good points ~~
1) Nice detail overall
2) Good body proportions -- I'm always stuck there!
3) Appropriate shading

~~ Bad points ~~
1) Lack of a better background
2) Black clavicle? I think not.

Smmoth

Well I like how simple this one is, now you just need to drop him off in a background somewhere so we know what he is fighting for anyways. Seems like a pretty mellow man who gets along with others and takes control when no one else really seems to know what to do too.

The background is simple and nice.

I can't remember the name of the country that his flag represents, Sweden, Finland? The goggles on his head also look pretty nice and help keep his hair pushed back and out of his eyes thankfully too. You did some wonderful shading here on him as well.

His outfit seems to show he knows what he is doing as well. I am guessing this is something he is wearing during a war or zombie apocalypse and that such so that he can be ready for anything coming his way that might try to hurt him too.

Overall, seems very commanding and calm too. Excellent work doing this in flash too.

Very clean character build!

This piece seems like it was really well done! I see very few to none flaws, love the shading work, and really think that this has way to low of a score :o.

This guy looks like a bad-ass; probably a main character for a video game, and whatsmore, he's got a bad ass gun to do his talking for him :}

The colors in this piece look really great, and honestly if you could animate this guy fluidly; I could see awards in your future. You obviously have some real talent though, so I don't think I need to tell you that :}

Overall; this is a really great piece of artwork!
