Teapunk

My final for my 3D design class in Art fundamentals at Sheridan College. It's a Steampunk inspired Teapot essentially. I've also been told it looks like it was rolled around a junkyard like a Katamari.
I got a 91% on it.

This was definitely a pretty interesting sculpture! A coordinated sense of randomness... so much variation with the details too, not just the same thing all over. Picture quality though: could be sharper.

Araelyn responds:

I made this sculpture almost 10 years ago! So, the picture quality is also from 10 years ago.

It's beautiful

Unique

~~REVIEW~~
ok so here is something {DIFFERANT} every once in awhile we will get stuff like this on the portal and this one was pretty {UNIQIE} glad you got a good grade on it, and this is art you see alot of this type of stuff in art shows and stuff, so this was interesting, now i think this would have been better if you had a differrant backround the one you had there kinda didnt allow for the picture to be focused on it was more of hard to see with the {PATTERN} backround it should have been probably just a white sheet or something, so ther then the backing it was alright and i thought it was pretty nifty

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Just the backing should be a more {SOLID} not a patteren.

~X~

Araelyn responds:

Hahahahaha. It's my wallpaper.

Thats how we go!

You must be smoking some pretty strong stuff to think of so much crap to put on this!

Araelyn responds:

Haha, I don't think smoking Marlboros is considered smoking strong stuff.
Well...that's all I was smoking at the time.

Great SteamPunk style...

Also...nice Katamari reference.
It sorta makes me think of what the Mad Hatter would have in the Alice in Acidland graphic novel, too.
Really nice work.

Araelyn responds:

Thank you! :)
I was trying NOT to go for an Alice in Wonderlandtypeishthing, but perhaps. I've been told it looks more like it's from Return to Oz or Brazil.
I think as long as all of the things it reminds people of are awesome things, then I'm good.
