This is how train track of Ferrona planet looks like. It's called Tritr, an abbreviation for Triple Rail Train. Train uses it's rails as power source, so better don't touch them.
I created it too, but it rendered awful.

I used Blender Cycles and emitting material for lights. It would look better with normal lights though. Then rendered 19 frames and connected them together with imagemagick (convert *.png anim.gif).
