The detail and emotion of the background is already so complex in its explained way in art that you can already smell the pouring rain as it sinks into the cracks of the road and makes such a soothing sound on the pavement. The feel of the water going around, spiraling your umbrella atop of you as you take gushing steps with the city in various lights. Love this too much already^-^

One of a couple concept art pieces I did with Glass Knuckle Games for their upcoming game, Defragmented. It's a futuristic, cyberpunk shooter. I agree, the reflective water effect on the street are beautiful. I really love the Neon glow from the signs, it makes me think of Time square in New York city.

heh- fair nuff. This is the difference between concept art and illustration. The concept brings the idea to the rest of the dev team. That open sign is just a quick note of a possible sign. Although I agree with the critique.
