I got Paint Tool Sai to work again! YAY
This picture is pretty simple, and I haven't drawn anything in a LONG time... but it has a story behind it...
The girl in the green shirt is me.. and the girl in the blue shirt is my beautiful cousin. She is turning 15 on July 26... But I won't be there on her birthday..
Story Time:

In December we found out she has been cutting, and my cousin was terrified of her mom finding out because my aunt was a STRICT Pentacostal Christian and So was my Grandma ( whose house they were living ) So we tried comfort my cousin so she would be able to tell her mom, but when we turned to my grandma for help and let her know that we are, explaining that we want Cathy to tell her mom.We made sure my grandma knew that we weren't keeping this a secret from my aunt, we just wanted my cousin to feel comfortable enough to tell her mom, Grandma agreed that that was a good idea. But just a few days later, before we could even talk to my cousin, my grandma told my aunt, without telling us, while my cousin wasn't even in the room... They blamed us for keeping this from my aunt and my aunt blamed me for "showing her" because I went through cutting a few years prior.... (NOTE: My cousin lives FAR away from town, is home schooled, only interacts with people on friday nights for karate, the interacton is with kids younger than her, and maybe church on wednesdays and sundays....So during all this time she didn't have a lot of contact with people...... and when my aunt found out... well, let's ust say, she was very alone after... ) So after a few months of no contact with that part of my family, my cousin ran away... I kept begging my mom that we need to go to grandma's house and help, when we did, in the perfect timing, my cousin was dropped off by a friend who was looking for her. We had time to talk.. she told us how afraid she was... And I remember her crying... after we called my aunt, telling her we found her, my aunt came in and the way she reacted to seeing my cousin assured us that we needed to help my cousin.... And ever since my cousin told us that day that she wasn't okay, my family has been severed from that part of the family trying to help my cousin...

I know that story was a bit long, but that's the story I was thinking of when I drew this... And I know it makes it look like my cousin is dead ( even though she's not) I think she is dying on the inside...
I love her to death... She was and will always be my rock, when all my friends are too busy with life...
I Miss You & We'll always be a Big Happy Dango Family...
