A wallpaper i did year sago.
Seems to had allot of fans on other sites, and I seen it pop up like crazy all over the net.
So here is one of the originals.
This was in fact part of my Modern day series.
We was basically commissioned to do some specialty cards for Neon Tokyo as part of some promotions thing.
we took popular animes at the time and made them modern day, like what they would look like now.
Well the whole thing went under (though we did get paid)
sadly the only thing i had rights to was this and another Fuu Image (they didn't get used)
Because of the size, I just made em wallpapers and let em loose.
SO years later, here we are.

This was so close to a 10
But then I noticed something. Something that seems to have went unnoticed. Something that makes me think that you are laughing at us, mocking us. Something that isn't hidden, but put in an way to hide it (like the things most overlooked are the most obvious). Something that might change everyones mind of this picture, that is so well done. It looks like she has hair coming from her...... rear end. I wonder if this is why it went under, though that would be rather shallow. I mean it is a quick and easy fix... Even if simular things came about throught the whole ordeal... I still would have like to seem this in action.

Very nice. The posing is nice, the face is cute, the shading is good, has an eye catching background...generally a well done picture.
My complaints come at the dress and the legs. The dress looks almost like it's made of thick rubber, and it doesn't have many folds where it looks like it's creased. The legs seem to be a little short. I can see that you were going for a look of depth, but the legs seem to be a little too short for the depth here. The shortness is also present around the foot, closer to the foreground, as it looks like the calf muscle is touching the heel of her foot.
Enough of me brushing over this with a fine tooth comb. This was and is still a very nice picture. The concept of making anime based in different time periods into a more modern period is a very interesting concept. Perhaps you could try your hand at such a thing one last time?
Either way, this is still a good bit of art. Good work. Good work indeed.
